I have several running top of this type. I haven't worn this one in temperatures below 40 degrees, but I think that I will be plenty warm.
Still the best.

Typically excellent. I like the higher neck.
Sporthill XC Top

SportHill XC gear is "tops" when it comes top winter running!

I had purchased another wind stopping top from Sporthill ten or more years ago, and this one is better in nearly every way. Softer fabric, much more comfy on a long ride.
But the real difference is the ability to simply STOP all wind entering the shirt up to at least 30 mph. I can confirm this, as I have ridden my bike on a windless day, and only one the p downhills when I approach 35 -40 mph do I feel even the slightest wind entering this shirt.
My new favorite for cold weather rides
Warm and comfortable!

I've use this top for running (under 25 degrees), cross country skiiing (under 30 degrees), down hill skiing (as a base layer in very cold conditions), and road cycling under 38 degrees. I am always amazed how the 3sp fabric keeps me warm.
Best XC Top Yet

This is the top I always wanted Sporthill to make.I have several versions of the XC top from the various years (all the way back to my Bill Koch), but wanted a fully 3SP one with the same fit - and this is it. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the pocket. It's located on the sleeve and it's really too small for much more than a key, or credit card or energy gel. Perhaps if they made it a little bigger and added another one on the other arm, that would be best. Overall, this is a fabulous top that I use for running and snowshoeing.
