Yes, improved

In the last 6 decades that I have worn running shorts I have come upon the words "improved" for the same, and been skeptical of such mentions. So it was for my purchase of the Hero II shorts. While the version before was good, it was not the best I have had. The Hero II is much better; it is improved.

The photos do no justice to this fact. The fabric is softer to the hand and is functionally softer without snagging. The fit has improved; the shorts no longer migrate (like the earlier version tended to do) as the miles add up. I took the waist cord out as soon as I first put on these shorts; having done so made the waist band more complaint and comfortable. A vast improvement over the earlier version.
