Fit large
I ordered a small and they were definitely too large. I’m 5 ft 1 and 115 lbs. probably could’ve ordered the XS.
Perfect for both running and Nordic skiing, this versatile medium-weight pant performs well in a wide spectrum of temperatures and weather conditions. The Super XC features front panels made of Windshield™ stretch fabric for 40 mph wind protection and treated with DWR to repel water. The back panels are made from soft, breathable and moisture wicking SwiftPro™ fabric with 25 mph wind protection. The double articulated knee has a hidden stretch panel in front for maximum mobility. For comfort, fit and convenience, the Super XC also has a contoured elastic waistband with a drawcord and a secure back pocket strategically placed and structured to avoid chafing.

I just got these, and we have no snow here yet to ski on, but I know I am going to love them. Everything is so well designed and executed, from the drawstring that can be clipped together in a circle (so it doesn't disappear down the hole) to the articulation of the windbreak fabric at the knees. The best part? For me, it is the fact that they are long enough for even my legs! Yippee!!! Come on, snow!
I bought these for skiing and outdoor recreation/fitness but have started to wear them all the time! Comfortable, warm, slips over whatever leggings I have on. Have worn them for walks and hikes, and I think they’ll be great for skiing too! Great fit - runs true to size or tiny bit big for me. I’m 5’4, 154, fairly fit, and wear a Medium petite. I like them to be fitted. If I wanted it fairly loose I could have worn a large petite.
I love the fabric on these pants. Lightweight for hiking and wintertime outdoor pickleball.
I'm 6' tall and it's a struggle to find pants long enough in the leg and the rise. These fit amazingly well in the Large Long (I'm about an 8 in regular US pants) and the articulated knees make an enormous difference in how well they stay put when active when you are tall. Wish more pants had these! They are good xc skiing down to about 15F on their own and with long underwear I will wear them colder than that, although I also have the sport hill 3SP pants for really cold/windy weather as these provide no wind protection to your rear and sometimes you need it. In addition to skiing, I wear them hiking in cooler 40s/50s temps, under my waders fly fishing in cold weather and I usually wear them camping in the fall and spring. I really like hiking in them as they are quiet unlike most softshell pants. Overall, super versatile and comfy pant that washes well and can be used nearly year round in northern areas.
I haven’t had a chance to XC ski or snowshoe in these pants, but they fit pretty well. The material in the back is different from the front which is less stretchy and more water/wind repellent. I’m 5’3”, approx 124 lbs. I ordered both Small-Reg and Medium-Petite. The Small was a little tight and the front rise was very low. I like the Med-Petite as they have room for a base layer and the waist is higher.
Love this pant. The Small long was perfect in the waist and leg length (5'6" 127 lbs.) But I returned it for 2 reasons. It was too thin for snowshoeing and hiking in elevation and the rear end fit was baggy, even though the waist fit correctly. The material is stellar. I would say this is a better running pant than a pant to be used in elevation.
Those pants came apart the first day I wore them. A big hole along the seem on my behind.
these pants fit perfectly...i am 5’3” and ordered the small. i appreciate the articulated knees. the only thing that would make them over the top would be more pockets. otherwise i am very happy with my purchase!
i ordered the pant in womens small- along time ago ( over 20 years) i bought a mens med because nothing else was available at that time- i was 25 pounds heavier so i decided to get a new pair in the womens size that was appropriate- i am 5'9" and 130 lbs- the pants that came in a womens size small was the exact same size as the med mens that i purchased over 20 years ago- so they really are too big but i decided to keep them because the material is slightly nicer- other than this they are great cross country ski pants - they block the wind totally- are very warm
