Perfect for small waist and big thighs
Love these pants! Was so happy to discover them at REI. I have full thighs and a smaller waist! These fit the bill! Plus I wore them skate skiing through 34 weeks pregnant and didn't permanently stretch out the waist band! I have really hard time finding pants that fit my thighs/hips without getting too big in the waist. Worried the 2018 updated version won't fit as well with the redesign to slim the legs.
Pants are a magnet for lint and dog hair
I’ve owned two pair and love the fabric feel and fit of these pants. However the fabric is a magnet for lint and dog hair. Even using a lint roller or good ole duct tape to get it off works for a few minutes. Then it back. I’ve folliwed washing directions but that hadn’t helped either. Any ideas or methods to help with this is greatly appreciated.
Used to Love the fit
I’ve owned two pair of these pants, and absolutely loved the fit. I’m a little beamy in the hips and small in the waist and they fit beautifully with a nice straight leg. But I just bought another pair and they were extremely roomy in the legs. I spoke to Sporthill and they said they’re redesigning them to have a nicer taper to the legs, like they used to. They should be available around June 2018. Fingers crossed!
I love these pants/ Women's Traverse Pant
I do love the Women's Traverse Pants, and have several pair. BUT - they must be plain dried. That was a problem last winter due to travel schedules. The length of the pants are quite a lot shorter. I recently purchased 2 additional pairs to extend the line-drying time.
Traverse pants
Love these pants! I bought a couple of pairs about 3 years ago, now past their prime, I just bought 2 more pairs! In Michigan they are the warmest pants I've ever had. Wear them almost every day all winter long! They are perfect indoors and out.
Love them but
I love the fit and look of these pants. They are warm and certainly block the wind very well. But after just one day of wear they have already pilling - getting fuzz balls. They are not cheap so I'm a bit disappointed.
finally!
I've been searching for ski pants for downhill skiing for a long long time. These seem perfect: they fit without gapping at the back of the waist, and they aren't so tight I can't sit down in them. I haven't worn them skiing yet, so we shall see!!
For outside for sure
These are long (I wish XL came in short) but without zippered legs, I should be able to hem them. They are nice and loose fitting and feel very windproof and will be great for hiking, snowshoeing or skiing for when I don't need a full ski pant.
length difference
I ordered these pants from Title Nine several months ago and love them. That catalog no longer has them available, but I found them on the sporthill website. Ordered the same size, and they came 2 inches longer than the ones I already had. Disappointing.
Fit is not what I expected
I own several pairs of the Traverse pants which I purchased about 6 years ago, so I ordered these in the same size, ML. I loved the fit of my old pants and am not happy with the new ones. They are way longer and wider than I expected. I'll be trying a small but based on the sizing chart, I'm hoping that they are not too small.
