This double layer crew sock is designed with a lightweight Coolmesh® II inner layer made from recycled plastic bottles and an upcycled wool outer layer to minimize blisters and maximize moisture management and durability. A stabilizer zone in the arch locks the sock in place and a mesh panel enhances air flow. Tested by staff, we liked that this sock was not super thick, had the beneficial qualities of wool without being scratchy, and really helped keep blisters at bay. The socks are nice; however, they tend to bind at the top which makes them uncomfortable to wear. We have bought Sport Hill merchandise for many years and have found them to be high quality and long lasting. This a little disappointing.
Some socks are too thin and others are too bulky. These socks are the perfect weight for spring/fall hikes. They also stay up without slouching after a day on the trail.
