I definitely was in need of an updated gym short since mine were dated and a little on the "short-short" side. These are perfect! I love how comfortable they are, the pockets, especially the side pockets that can fit keys or credit card in them, and the liner make this a no brainer. Don't know why I waited so long before I pulled the trigger but glad I finally did!
These are just the right fit for a run (by a not-amazing runner), weight training, or just taking a walk. The built-in liner makes it comfortable to wear "alone." The pockets (1 zipper, 2 others) are all deep enough to hold a cell phone, keys, etc without issue. The non-zipper pockets are built in such a way that your stuff isn't in danger of falling out.
