These are the only mtb shorts I wear. The fact that they have zipper pockets on both sides and that the placement of the pockets is usable both when pedaling the bike as well as standing up makes the design of these a game changer for me. I find myself frustrated when I wear any other shorts besides these for mountain biking.
Material is nice and stretchy, making getting on/off the bike easy. Had to get comfortable with the off setting pockets, not the usual placement. Pockets are very secure with zippers. Length is perfect for the shoulder seasons and wearing a thin padded cycling short is my go-to short for spring and fall riding.
