Wrong size label and not easy to contact customer service

I've ordered and worn probably 8 or more pairs of these pants for years and loved them. They have all been large size. The latest pair was labelled Large, but was obviously extra-large....way bigger in all dimensions. The 888-645-3627 number on the invoice goes into outer space, and the 541-345-9623 number of the website also is not being manned or monitored. I mailed the pair back, but forgot to enclose the invoice/replacement form. There's no way to contact anyone to fix the problem! Editor's note: We apologize for the mislabeled pant and the hassle for you to reach us. A staff member will contact you for a replacement. We have had some of our staff out of the office due to Covid so calls that are normally picked up could have gone directly to voice mail. The two phone numbers listed above both work and are either picked up by a SportHill employee during work hours or go to a voice mail box and normally get a call back by the next work day.

Classic stirrup pants

I love these pants! I got my first pair in 1988. I was a track coach/PE teacher and I wore those pants every time they came thru the laundry. And I still have them today! In real time, they offer comfort, a slim line, and excellent performance in most weather situations. And long term, outstanding wear over a lifetime.

Original Stirrup Pants

I believe I started wearing these pants in the mid 80s( wow over 35 years)and they still are my goto running pants. Over the years people buy me the latest high tech pants and after a trial of wearing them. I end up giving them away. You are spot on their comfort of feeling cool when its warmer and warm when cooler. And the drag on your running when wearing the pants and not wearing the pants is barely noticeable. One note: I never found it useful to use the stirrup, though I am sure others like using them.

This is where it all began

These are the pants I first purchased 37 years ago. I am sad to say that those pants have ONLY lasted these past three decades and I now have to purchase a new pair. I am only somewhat kidding when I speak of Sporthill's legendary durability. For Christmas, I not only purchased myself a pair, but a pair for my wife, son and daughter.. I've been buying these running tights for over 30years. They last forever (I have a pair over 10 years old) I don't buy anything else. I use them for running in any cold weather. When it's below 20, I just add an underlayer. I can't praise them enough. I'm 6' 2" and 160 lbs. and I get the medium long size and they fit very well. I hope you'll give them a try.

Saving my receipt

I don't know how many pairs of these i've purchased over the decades. i started buying them in the mail-order days... That I keep coming back tells you a lot. I like to have two pair on hand all the time. The pair I just received replaces the *newer* of the two I had. That one -- the one i replaced -- was less than a year old when the front crease stitching failed. i didn't have the receipt, so i just put up with it until a week ago. I'm saving my receipt on the new ones. Hoping that was just a one-off.

I still wear sport hill stirrup pants I've had for 30 years. I kid you not. If you don't put them in the dryer, they last forever! That being said, my new ones are so soft, I even sleep in them when camping. I use them for dog walking, wearing all the time, jogging, hiking, yoga, and living in. They fit perfect. They are not clingy or tight like tights, and this is what makes them so comfortable. I have 8 old pairs that I wear if the weather is "warm", and 8 new ones for colder weather. If they ever stop making these, I will cry. I don't use the stirrups. I just cut them off, and there is no fraying.
