LL is too long for my 5 7 inch long legged frame and fabric too flimsy ( IMO) to qualify as Zone 2. Will be returning. Sorry.
I bought my first 2 pairs in the 80s and just bought my 3rd 2 pairs. Needless to say, I love how comfy they are and how long they last. I guess that doesn't make me a the be$t customer, but it makes me a happy customer!
I've bought my first Sporthill stirrup pant some 40 years ago and have yet to find a better bottom for most any type of sports activity, from hiking to cycling! The pant is the perfect weight for warmer months and can easily be worn over a pair of tights when the weather is colder. I'm so happy that Sporthill continues to offer this product, as I haven't found any other company that produces a stirrup pant rather than stirrup tights. The Sporthill Original Stirrup Pant serves all of my sports needs--and look neat, too!
I am writing this review for my last pair of Sporthill stirrup pants--which I bought when I was working at a running store in Milwaukee when I was in college in 1986! These pants have stood the test of time and carried me through countless run, bike rides, and even a few touch football games. They are still in good shape except the elastic band is getting a little loose (it's been over 35 years). I'm glad to see the company is still in business as it must be hard to get repeat customers when the products last so long (last year my sister told me the Sporthill pants I bought for her, also in the 1980's were still going strong as well). Thanks for an amazing product. I suppose I'll be back for another pair in 2050 or so.....
These pants feel great against my skin; they are vastly superior to sweat pants. The stretch and give in the right places; it's like wearing a second skin. I use them in my workouts from running to calisthenics. These stirrup pants would be great to wear in a fencing class in lieu of fencing knickers. I feel like a man of action in these pants and I will be buying them again sooner than later.
Recently I was forced to reorder a replacement for my regular running pants; and after only 35 years!! So I went with who brung me to the dance. Could not be happier. Fabric, fit and function all top notch. And now with a ID/key card pocket! What these youngsters think of these days. BTW, my original pair is still going strong, but after 3 decades of washing, they’re more of a Zone 1 than Zone 2…
I had a pair of these 30 years ago and needed a new pair of running pants, so decided to order these. They are still perfect for runs in the winter. Not too hot or too cold, but just right. Also they taper nicely not to interfere with stride. Highly recommend these!
Always my favorite track pant. Many pair over the years.
I've ordered and worn probably 8 or more pairs of these pants for years and loved them. They have all been large size. The latest pair was labelled Large, but was obviously extra-large....way bigger in all dimensions. The 888-645-3627 number on the invoice goes into outer space, and the 541-345-9623 number of the website also is not being manned or monitored. I mailed the pair back, but forgot to enclose the invoice/replacement form. There's no way to contact anyone to fix the problem! Editor's note: We apologize for the mislabeled pant and the hassle for you to reach us. A staff member will contact you for a replacement. We have had some of our staff out of the office due to Covid so calls that are normally picked up could have gone directly to voice mail. The two phone numbers listed above both work and are either picked up by a SportHill employee during work hours or go to a voice mail box and normally get a call back by the next work day.
