Running tights
Warm & well fitting
Frosty temperatures have met their match! These trim, tapered fit pants are perfect for cold weather running, skiing and biking. The Winter Fit pant has a drawcord at the waist, two zippered hand pockets, 9-inch locking ankle zippers, gripper elastic at the ankles and chafe-free inseams. This pant is updated with new white reflective seams that give you 360º reflectivity. Shed the layers, keep the warmth! *Note: We recommend that you wash garments with 3SP fabric inside out to protect the outer surface. Hang dry, do not put in the clothes dryer.
These pants have a slightly longer inseam then normal.

"Have worn these and the tights for years in Alaska for work and play. They’re adaptable, comfortable and hold up great to water from seawater and rain when boating to snow, rain and mud when running. Last much longer than jeans for workwear. Hoping to buy another pair of LS when back in stock. Others have lasted nearly 10 years."

"SportHill does a great job because of the size options (M Long for me). I am hard to fit with small waste and long legs and arms. I also have always had great experience with the range of temps the pants work for me. This weight works great for hiking and my bike riding for me. They also are great for knocking around town. Quality is always good for me too."

I bought these pants to replace a 30 yr old pair of 3SP XC pants. These new pants are better in many ways and I hope they last as long (although they won't need to last as long!). Their stretch is wonderful. My body isn't what it was 30 years ago but the waist is very stretchy and accommodates my larger waist. The fit is more tailored than the XC pant. The only thing that worries me is the reflective stitching as it may catch on something and become troublesome. For the record, I am 5' 8" and 160 lbs. 68 yrs old.
This is my second pair of Sporthill pants - my first was a pair of the XC pants in size large, which I purchased 25 years ago or so. I still have them and they are excellent, if not getting a bit worn and a hole or two from carelessness on my part. So I ordered a pair of these, size Medium, as I wanted the reflective piping for my cycling rides. Surprisingly they came up slightly shorter than the XC pants, although both measure out to 30” on the inseam. I’m 5’11”, about 150 lbs, and usually wear pants with a 32” or 33” inseam. I think they’re going to work ok, and I feel like the 2” extra length on a Tall size would probably be a bit too much for my purposes. Other than that, I have only good things to say about Sporthill products and the helpful customer support people I’ve spoken with. Highly recommend.
Great materials and workmanship! Using them for Fall bike riding and they are great. They should do the same for any winter wear.
These are the best winter pants you can find anywhere. I go outside virtually every day to ski, run, hike, mountain bike or walk no matter what the weather here in the hills of Northern Vermont. I've been a SportHill guy for decades because they are the warmest winter pants you can find. This was the first time I tried the winter fit pant and they are the best. They are comfortable and warm. All Zone 3 pants have a wide temperature range including the winter fit pants. There simply isn't a better winter pant out there and I've tried many of them.
Great for for riding the road bike in cold weather
My very first day out skate skiing was in my old pair of snowboard pants. They worked, but felt cumbersome. I needed a solution, and was recommended to check these out. I wore them from the moment I left my house, up to the mountains. Skated, and then proceeded to wear them the remainder of the day! They are the right amount of warm without being over bearing. Very comfortable even for running around town on a chilly day. This was my first pair, but I look forward to adding a couple more to my wardrobe soon.
Pants kept me warm during long run in freezing rain even though they eventually got soaking wet. Zipper pocket holds phone toward front of leg to permit normal stride. Bought one size smaller than normal to fit more like regular tights, yet still are more comfortable (less restrictive) than my old SportHill Dura Saga tights, which they replaced.
I wear these pants biking in the winter weather here in Colorado. They are great because they have enough warmth for the cold days here, keep water off my legs, and are tight enough that they don't get caught in my drivetrain like other winter pants do. Bike shorts fit under them just fine for the days you need a shammy.
