Great pants!

I love many things about the Zephyr pant: the fit is superb. More than sizing, they are not too loose nor too tight, styling is great . I also like the feel of the fabric and the width of the legs from hip to ankle. Why a 4 star rating? Not sure why these pants have a drawstring that seems several inches longer than necessary. They get in the way when wearing and when washing. Also not sure why the pocket opening is so small as the pockets do fit a smart phone, but it is hard to get the phone into the pocket.

My go-to pants in the UP

I discovered these in a store 3 years ago and quickly bought another 2 pair online. At 5’1” I find that many petites are still too long, but these are perfect. I’ve long since lost all the drawstrings (which I wasn’t using anyway), but otherwise they’ve held up well. I’m still wearing these throughout 3 seasons in Michigan’s UP, usually a few days in a row before a wash/dry cycle. They’re comfortable and there’s plenty of room for a base layer or two underneath as needed. Great for travel, too.
