4.5/5. A bit over-engineered from what I think was the original 3SP top. Now with pockets which adds unnecessary layers at the waist. Now with full zip. If the over-engineering included two-way full zip, this jacket would be 6 out of 5!
I have been wearing older versions of this jacket for years for cycling and cross country skiing I purchased the new version and I like it as much as my older versions. I cross country skied for about 2 hours yesterday with a SportHill zone 2 top underneath it and was very comfortable for the entire two hours. The temperature was around 28 degrees, the wind was about 5 to 10 miles an hour and it was snowing. I have also worn this jacket down into the teens and have been very comfortable. I also had the Winter Fit pant on with the same 3sp fabric and was a perfect warmth level for the entire ski and the 1:45 drive home. Great product!
