Great cold weather active wear
I bought a pair and then ordered a second I liked them so much. Warm, trim fit but not like tights or yoga pants. True to size, calf zippers are nice, zippered side pockets, no rear pocket. Warm for walking or more active activity, probably too warm for cross country skiing etc. but not warm enough for sedentary pursuits like ice fishing. A good balance for 20-40 degree weather. Wind resistant but not ideal for wet conditions. Look nice in public, a notch above sweatpants but not dressy by any means. Says to hand dry, I put mine in the drier accidentally and the world didn’t end but I’ll try and hang dry as they recommend. Nice features and good quality. The only downside is hard to put on with socks on as the lining grabs, best to add socks after pants. Your mileage may vary.
3sp pants
Have worn these and the tights for years in Alaska for work and play. They’re adaptable, comfortable and hold up great to water from seawater and rain when boating to snow, rain and mud when running. Last much longer than jeans for workwear. Hoping to buy another pair of LS when back in stock. Others have lasted nearly 10 years.
Winter fit pants
Am very happy with these cozy and comfortable pants! Only improvements would be a hip pocket and a fly, but not deal breakers for me.
Great pant fir cold wet south
SportHill does a great job because of the size options (M Long for me). I am hard to fit with small waste and long legs and arms. I also have always had great experience with the range of temps the pants work for me. This weight works great for hiking and my bike riding for me. They also are great for knocking around town. Quality is always good for me too.
3SP XC Pants
Great winter pants. 2nd pair I've had in 30 years. Hope this pair lasts as long as my 1st pair.
Best winter sports pants
Love these pants for running and hiking in damp, frosty weather. Fabric made in USA! They’re out of stock everywhere... hope they’re back soon with same fit and quality - I’m trying to get another.
Best Cold Weather Pants Ever!
I run in colorful Colorado and have tried all of the major brands (whose names begin with N, B, C, R, etc.). I can tell you that these are hands-down the best winter pants I own.
Great fitting pants for tall person!
I am 6' 5" 205 lbs. I usually get pants that are 34" waist and 36" inseam, but those are almost impossible to get in workout pants until I found Sporthill Winter Fit Pants. The large long are a perfect fit for biking and running. Long enough yet not too baggy, awesome for my size!
Love these Pants!
I've been using the XC's for years but decided to try this model. The fit of the medium-tall is great on me (6'1" 160'lbs). We've been experiencing teens here in NJ for over a week and these pants are ideal. Not in the least bit cold. Also, the material is very soft and comfortable
Go-to Very Cold Weather Running Pants
I do most of my daily running on an ocean facing boardwalk on a barrier beach in NY. So the cold wind can really come shooting in. These pants stand up to the wind and cold. They feel solid and almost impermeable but still soft and comfortable. I also like the soft lining inside which is warm but doesn't feel too plush. The pockets are great too. I've been wearing Sporthill pants for years and have three other weights and styles, but these will now be my go-to's when the weather is really cold and blustery. They are also good for winter biking and I plan to try them out this weekend for cold weather hiking too.
