Super XC Pant
Really, really comfortable! These are my go to pant for XC skiing and winter running. I do not get too hot or too cold in these when I am out on a steady skate, classic ski or run. Nice, flattering fit.
Perfect for both running and nordic skiing, this versatile medium-weight pant performs well in a wide spectrum of temperatures and weather conditions. The Super XC features front panels made of Windshield™ stretch fabric for 40 mph protection and treated with DWR to repel water. The back panels are made from soft, breathable and moisture wicking SwiftPro™ fabric with 25 mph wind protection. The double articulated knee has a hidden stretch panel in front for maximum mobility. The Super XC Pant has an elastic cuff, ankle zippers and an inner gusset that stretches over a ski boot or keeps the fit narrow for running. For comfort, fit, and convenience, the Super XC also has a contoured elastic waistband with a drawcord, two side zip pockets large enough for a phone, and a secure back pocket.

I was disappointed to find that they did not keep me warm in even 35-degree weather. My level 2 pants have kept me warmer. I noticed several of the reviewers wore thermals underneath. I was hoping they would be warm as is--did not stand up to lower degrees.
I just love these pants. They are warm, comfortable and versatile. I hike, xc ski and enjoy winters! These are a Gamechanger. Did I mention they are flattering too???!!!
Love these pants. I looked at the sizing chart and ordered accordingly. The fit was great and the look is slimming. I can wear a pair of winter leggings underneath and these will be great for showshoeing and cross country skiing. Love that they come in petite. Will definitely consider ordering from this company again!
I love everything about these pants and was super stoked about my purchase. Unfortunately after about 5 wears I noticed the stitching in the crotch area is already coming undone. It's really too bad given the high price point. I was hoping these pants would last me years to come like some of my other SportHill pants that I've had close to 10 years.
This is my winter pant for daily activities and XC. I really appreciate the long version because I have long legs. It is so comfortable and it keeps me warm. Great quality too. Glad it is local.
Shopping for Nordic pants is hard due to lack of options. I had already tried on every pair available at REI and found these looking online. I was surprised to see them in petite/short and extra surprised to know they’re local to my location. I wore them for the first time today and they’re the most comfortable and warm xc pants I’ve used or tried on. These by far are my favorite I’ve had- and plan to buy them again. True fit, accurate listings. I bought the zone3 and wore a light pair of thermals under it. They felt very comfortable - I even wore them on the ride home!
Great fit, warm and windproof.
Wore them in a snowstorm xc skiing with thin merino wool tights on a 20 degree day and was very comfortable.
I love these pants for winter running and cycling. I have a pair of medium if I want them to fit like tights and a pair of large when I want them to look more like pants. The flexible knees are very comfy and the waist is wide enough for comfort but is not so wide that is folds over. They are windproof on the front and warm enough for me to wear at 4 degrees F. They look great too!! I am 5 ft 8 in, 170 lbs and a medium frame.
This is the fourth pair of winter Sporthill pants I've owned over the past decade or so. They are by far the most light weight, warm, and wind-resistant of all the different varieties I've tried (I've had the winter fit and the nomad). I like that it doesn't feel like you're wearing twelve pounds of pants while out for a run, and they have a pretty good wind resistance. However, even with leggings underneath they still don't hold up to the very cold days (under 10 degrees F). My outdoor running on those days is limited to 30 minutes or less due to how cold my legs get. For that reason, I give four of five stars.
